Born and raised in Tempe, Arizona, Scott went on to pursue a degree in music from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles. However, after completing his freshman year of college, he realized that acting was the proper path for him. He would go on to be a part of the first graduating class of Azusa Pacific's BFA in Acting, which has since been recognized as one of the top 25 BFA in Acting programs in the Nation.
Shortly after, he received a full ride scholarship and graduated with his MFA from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Recognized as one of the top 25 MFA programs in the world.
A current resident of New York City, and proud member of Actors Equity, he has worked with the likes of Olympia Dukakis, Patsy Rodenburg, Glenn Slater, Frank Galati, Justin Long, Bill Berry, Mark Bell, Bill Bowers, and many more.
Multifaceted and what some would refer to as a quick study, his range stretches from comedic to dramatic, straight plays to musicals, leading man to character actor.
Some credits include; The Little Foxes,
directed by Frank Galati, Beatsville: The Beatnik Musical, a new Glenn Slater and Wendy Wilf-Slater musical in co-production with Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre, and Hamlet directed by Justin Lucero.
